A Gentle Start: Caring for Mental Well-Being

As we begin a new year, we’re shining a light on mental health and the importance of caring for our minds as well as our bodies. Small steps like staying connected, asking for help early, and prioritizing self-care can make a meaningful difference.

This month, we’re proud to interview Helen Yoo, Addiction and Mental Health Manager in High River, whose leadership and compassion help ensure individuals and families in our community can access the support they need, close to home.

If you or someone you care about is looking for support, mental health resources are available locally in High River and Nanton, with access to counselling, addiction, and mental health services through Recovery Alberta. Help is here, and you don’t have to navigate it alone.
