2026 represents 40 years of community investment in and advancing healthcare, close to home through the High River District Health Care Foundation.

1986 was the year the Foundation became a federally registered charity - an important benchmark of success in the years leading up to this point.  So many amazing initiatives have been accomplished over the past four decades and our team felt it was time to reflect on what the community has supported and to get inspiration for the future of healthcare philanthropy.  We have had great fun reviewing photos, articles and materials in our archives.  So many people and organizations have positively impacted rural healthcare for generations.

Throughout the year the Foundation will invite the healthcare team, donors and community members to share their vision for the future of healthcare and to enjoy special events where we will express gratitude to the community whose trust and investment have elevated local healthcare beyond expectations.
