Planned Giving
Your values, your community, your legacy.
Estate planning can sometimes be stressful. Along with your advisors, our team at the Foundation are here to help you explore the legacy you want to leave, while meeting the needs and dreams you have for your family. Leaving a donation after your death can alleviate tax burdens and leave a lasting legacy in your community. In 2026 we launched The Legacy Circle for Healthcare. You can become a member of the Circle when you share your plan to leave a gift to the Foundation in your Will.
Consider a Planned Gift
Planned giving is flexible and doesn’t require great wealth. We want you to feel comfortable and confident with your choice, knowing that you will make a difference beyond your lifetime. Donations can come from a specific or residual bequest, cash, property, securities/investments and even life insurance. The Foundation is a standing member of the Canadian Association of Gift Planners, and Wendy and Cathy are both trained through CAGP. We would be happy to discuss your goals for leaving a gift for local healthcare.
SHAPE THE FUTURE OF LOCAL HEALTHCARE
Become a Legacy Circle Member
It would be our honour to welcome you into this circle of recognition. If you have already planned for a gift to healthcare in your Will, or you are coordinating one now, you will become a member of our Circle. A gift in your Will ensures that rural healthcare will remain strong in High River and Nanton. The first 40 families or individuals to join the Legacy Circle will be recognized as our FOUNDING 40. This is a ‘nod’ to the Foundation’s 40th anniversary in 2026 and the inaugural year of our Legacy Circle. To discuss joining, please contact Wendy or Cathy.
Endowed Gifts and Foundation Forever Funds
NEW in 2026, donors can create a family endowment fund or add to our new Forever Funds. Please talk to one of our advisors to learn more details.
