The annual Points of Light campaign offers a beautiful way to honor someone special while bringing warmth, light, and vital support to our community hospital during the Christmas season.
Where Your Money Goes
The Points of Light campaign raises an average of $18,000 every year, with 100% of the proceeds dedicated to comfort and care. When you donate to the campaign or purchase a symbolic light, the funds are split directly between two crucial comfort-driven hospital programs.
Palliative Care: Providing compassionate, dignity-focused end-of-life care for patients and comfort resources for their families.
Spiritual Care: Funding the hospital’s Chaplaincy program to offer emotional, moral, and spiritual support to patients and families navigating difficult health journeys
For every donation made, a light is lit in honor or memory of your designated loved one on the gorgeous holiday trees at the front of the High River General Hospital. The Foundation will also send a recognition certificate directly to the family or individual you choose to honor.
